Stop Wasting Time on Bad Offers

Read time: 4 minutes

Create an amazing offer your audience actually wants, before you build anything.

Today, I’m going to show you the exact process I use to create an offer before I ever touch a landing page or product.

It’s how I make sure I’m not wasting time
Or building something no one wants.

These steps save me hours
And help me launch offers that land paid clients fast.

Whether you’re building a product, launching a service, or testing something small in DMs…

Why it matters:

  • Save hours of wasted time and energy
  • Launch offers that land paid clients fast
  • Build products, services, or even test DM offers that people are excited to buy
  • Avoid creating things that no one wants

Why creators fail: Unfortunately, most people build first and hope people buy later. They start with fancy assets instead of real validation, and that’s why so many launches flop.

Only Your Market Chooses Winning Offers

They spend hours making sales pages, logos, and fancy branding, all for something the market never wanted in the first place.

But after reading every guide and book I could find on offer creation + validation (especially Alex Hormozi’s $100M Offers), I found the clearest path: Create your offer based on what people already need, not what you think they want.

There’s a better way. This system will help you:

  • Save hours of wasted time and energy
  • Launch offers that land paid clients fast
  • Build products, services, or even test DM offers that people are excited to buy
  • Avoid creating things that no one wants

You don’t have to waste time building offers no one wants. Here’s how you can skip all the guesswork and get paid for your work—before you even build it.

How to Create an Amazing Offer in 7 Steps

  1. Pick a Market That’s Set to Win
  2. Niche Down Deep — Like, Really Deep
  3. Use the Value Equation
  4. List Every Problem — Then Solve for Each
  5. Choose the Right Delivery Method
  6. Pricing + Guarantees
  7. Add Scarcity

Step 1: Pick a Market That’s Set to Win

Not every market is worth entering. Here’s what I look for:

In Pain
They need the solution now. Like a burning pain — think dry eyes, not “it would be nice.”

Purchasing Power
They should be able to afford your solution. If they can’t pay, it’s a no.

Easy to Target
You don’t want to swim in red oceans. Go where the competition isn’t looking.

Growing
Choose a market connected to basic needs (health, money, relationships). Those scale.

Step 2: Niche Down Deep — Like, Really Deep

Example:
Health → Weight Loss → Postpartum Weight Loss → Women Over 40 Postpartum Weight Loss

Why? Because generic offers get ignored.
But hyper-specific ones? They hit.
Like that ad I saw targeting “Overweight Women Police Officers”—it ran for over 70 days. You don’t scale bad offers for that long.

Step 3: Use the Value Equation

This changed everything for me. From Alex Hormozi’s book:

You want to…

✅ Maximize Dream Outcome
✅ Maximize Perceived Likelihood of Success
✅ Minimize Time to Success
✅ Minimize Effort & Sacrifice

Here’s how I apply it practically:

🔹 Maximize Dream Outcome

  • What problem are they obsessed with solving right now?
  • What emotion dominates the space? Lust? Fear? Envy?
  • Focus your solution on that exact mental pressure point

🔹 Maximize Perceived Likelihood of Success

  • Show examples of others winning with this
  • Make it believable: “It’s worked for others, here’s how it works for YOU”

🔹 Minimize Time to Success

  • How can you get the early wins fast?
  • Show them the 10-day, 20-day, 30-day micro-results

🔹 Minimize Effort & Sacrifice

  • Can you remove complex steps and make it easier?
  • Simplify your process… remove friction

Step 4: List Every Problem — Then Solve for Each

Once I have the niche and value dialed in… I go deep.

I list:

  • Every step they need to take
  • Every problem they’ll face
  • Every objection or “but what if”
  • The next problem they’ll face after success

Then I ask myself:

  • How do I make this easier?
  • How do I make it faster?
  • How do I make it more fun and doable?

Each answer turns into an offer component — a guide, script, template, check-in, reminder system, whatever they need.

If it’s not fast, easy, enjoyable, believable, I throw it out.

Step 5: Choose the Right Delivery Method

You can package your offer as:

  • DIY: Courses, templates, downloads
  • DWY: Coaching, community, group calls
  • DFY: Full-service implementation

Each has its pros and cons.
Start where your energy and bandwidth allow.

Step 6: Pricing + Guarantees

If you’re new, don’t go straight for full upfront fees.

Test models like:

  • Pay-per-sale
  • Revenue share
  • Profit share
  • $X per booked call or show-up

And give a bold guarantee.

Not just “money back.”
But stuff like:

  • I’ll work for free until you get results
  • I’ll 2x your money if you don’t hit goalgoalgoal
  • We work 1-on-1 until this is solved

Guarantees show confidence, and confidence sells.

Step 7: Add Scarcity

This is where you protect your energy and boost conversions.

Say things like:

  • Only 5 new clients this month
  • Only 10 people per cohort
  • Next intake opens in 30 days

Make your time valuable
Make your offer limited
It creates urgency without being spammy

All this? I put it into a simple, repeatable process
