All three are on every plan, free included.
1. Build a spreadsheet from a description (06)
Anthropic’s help page: “Claude can create Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx), PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), Word documents (.docx), and PDF files.”
Try this:
Build me a spreadsheet to track [what you track]. Columns: [list them]. Add a total row. Give me the .xlsx file.
2. Let Claude remember past work (09)
Memory is on the Free, Pro and Max plans. In Anthropic’s words, “Claude saves memory as a set of individual topics as you chat.” On Team and Enterprise, owners allow it; members enable it.
Try this, once:
Remember this about me: [what you do, who you serve, how you like answers written].
3. Save a repeat task as your own skill (03)
“Skills extend Claude’s capabilities by giving it access to specialized knowledge and workflows.” Skills work on every plan with code execution enabled. Upload your skill ZIP at Customize > Skills and enable it. Organization settings may restrict access.
Try this:
Package this workflow as a skill ZIP named [name], with steps and when to use it.
What needs a paid plan
- Paid plan: 05 (schedules), 08 (folders), 10 (plugins).
- Pro or Max: 02 (Claude working on your computer).
- Claude Code access: 11.
- Desktop: 02, 08 (local folders).
Two of the 12 ride on outside tools: 01 publishes through the Netlify connector, and 04 builds slides through the Gamma connector. Both need an account with that tool.
